Long-term care costs are higher than ever and people are living longer than ever. It’s no longer a question of IF you will need long-term care assistance, but WHEN and how to make sure you get the help you WANT and can afford without losing your independence or everything you’ve worked so hard for.
- Were you aware that your private insurance and even Medi-Cal will NOT pay for long-term care expenses?
- Did you know there are ways to legally protectyour assets and the legacy you hope to someday leave to your children from creditors, medical expenses and long-term care costs?
- Did you know that with a little planning, Medi-Cal benefits may be available to you…even if you currently have too many assets or too much income to qualify?
Christine will be sharing our top planning strategies during this free educational workshop so that you and your family can face the future with confidence. Aging, disability and incapacity are hard enough. Let us help ensure that a future illness doesn’t rock your entire legal and financial world and rob you of the inheritance and legacy you hope to leave behind to your family.

Are you a Seniors, Baby-Boomer or Caring for Someone Who is?
This seminar will further empower seniors and their families with an overview of strategies designed to provide the maximum amount of care possible while protecting both spouses and any possible legacy that can be passed on to the next generation. Attendees will discover:
- Why the insurance you have now (including Medi-Cal!) will NOT cover expenses related to long-term care.
- How to discover which assets are exempt from Medi-Cal and which are at risk of being seized or sold to offset long-term care costs (and how to protect assets from being lost in the first place!)
- The TRUTH about giving away assets to qualify for Medi-Cal and common gifting mistakes that could put your family on the hook financially or push back your eligibility to qualify for Medi-Cal by months or even YEARS!
- How marital property factors into the Medi-Cal process and how to prevent your spouse from going BROKE if you ever need nursing home care.
- How placing your assets in the RIGHT kind of Trust can help legally “shield” everything you’ve worked so hard for.
- ….and more!
We hope that you will join us for this informative educational seminar. There is no requirement to purchase legal services or work with our firm. Our goal is to simply help you understand how to access Medi-Cal benefits to pay for long-term care, and how to protect your family and assets in the process. If you have questions about this workshop, feel free to call our office at (310) 782-6322.
